Overview
This page lists the tools, platforms, and bookstores we recommend for readers and fellow creators — and explains when we may earn a commission if you buy something through one of our links.
It is meant to be read together with our core disclosure and legal pages:
- Disclosures (affiliate & sponsorship details)
- Affiliate & Partnerships (overview of how we work with partners)
- Privacy Policy and Cookies (data and tracking)
- Permissions & Licensing and Terms of Use (rules for using our puzzles, art, and press kit)
Links on this page marked as affiliate or tagged with rel="sponsored" may earn us a
small commission if you choose to make a purchase, at no additional cost to you. We only list services that fit
the Chronicles of Wordcraft brand and that we would be comfortable recommending to a friend.
1. How affiliate programs fit into Chronicles of Wordcraft
Affiliate income helps cover the real-world costs of running this project — tools for designing interiors, managing email lists, testing print quality, and hosting bonus packs — so we can keep making better books without loading every page with ads.
Nothing on this page changes your rights under our Permissions & Licensing or Terms of Use pages. Those documents control how you may use our puzzles, artwork, and press kit assets. Affiliate links are simply the mechanism we use when we point you to third-party tools and stores.
You never have to use an affiliate link. You can always visit a service directly instead, or choose a different provider altogether.
2. Tools we use to build the books
These are services we rely on (or have relied on) while building Chronicles of Wordcraft. Where links
are affiliate links, they are clearly marked in the HTML with rel="sponsored".
- Book Bolt — interiors, research & KDP helpers we use for keyword vetting and interior testing. Visit Book Bolt →
- MailerLite — email lists & bonus-pack delivery. Try MailerLite →
- Creative Fabrica — fonts & assets we use for on-brand ornament and type. Explore Creative Fabrica →
- Envato (Elements / Market / Placeit) — mockups & templates we use for marketing visuals and A/B experiments. Browse Envato →
Mention of a service here is not a guarantee that it is right for you. Always review a provider’s own terms, pricing, and data practices before signing up. We are not responsible for third-party products, support, or service availability.
3. Where we link books & accessories
When we link directly to books or reading accessories, we typically use one or more of the following platforms:
- Amazon (US) — main store for readers outside Canada. Shop on Amazon.com →
- Amazon (Canada) — for Canadian readers. Shop on Amazon.ca →
- Bookshop.org — supports independent bookstores in the US. Browse Bookshop →
- Kobo — ebooks & devices popular in Canada. Visit Kobo →
Whenever possible, we also encourage readers to support local, independent bookshops. You are welcome to take an ISBN or title you discover here and order it through any retailer you prefer.
4. Link infrastructure and redirects
To keep links tidy and to reach readers in different regions, we sometimes use link-routing tools and branded redirects. In particular:
- Geniuslink — auto-localizes Amazon and other links and helps us consolidate analytics. Learn about Geniuslink →
-
rrthalore.com redirects — short, memorable URLs (for example,
/booksor/qr/zeus-back) that forward to longer store or campaign links.
Redirects are used for convenience and analytics only. They do not change the price you pay. Where a link forwards to an affiliate program, it will still be treated as an affiliate link under our Disclosures policy.
5. How we label affiliate links
We aim to make it clear whenever a link is part of an affiliate program. We do this by:
- Using HTML attributes such as
rel="sponsored"where appropriate. - Noting affiliate relationships in nearby copy or in the page-level summary.
- Maintaining this dedicated page and our broader Disclosures page.
Unless we explicitly say otherwise, you can assume that commerce-oriented links on this page may be affiliate links. Regardless of the tracking method, your price should be the same whether you use our link or go to the site directly.
6. Editorial independence
Our first priority is making excellent puzzle books and art. Affiliate programs are a way to keep the lights on, not a reason to compromise what we recommend.
- We only list tools and platforms that are compatible with the kind of work we do.
- We do not sell paid placement inside our puzzle books themselves.
- If our experience with a tool changes significantly, we may update or remove it from this page.
Nothing here should be taken as financial, legal, or business advice. Always consider your own needs and circumstances before signing up for any service.
7. Using our brand assets, art, and press kit
Being part of an affiliate or referral program does not grant any license to reuse our artwork, logos, book interiors, word lists, or other intellectual property in your own products.
If you run a blog, channel, or classroom and wish to feature Chronicles of Wordcraft:
- You may link to our pages, books, and this Affiliate Programs page, subject to our Terms of Use.
- You may use the images and assets expressly provided in our Press Kit, following the usage rules stated there.
- You may not copy or redistribute puzzles, interiors, or art outside the permissions set out in Permissions & Licensing, even if you are an affiliate.
Unauthorized use of our intellectual property may violate copyright, trademark, or other rights. Where there is any inconsistency between this summary and the full legal terms, the Permissions & Licensing and Terms of Use pages will always control.
8. Analytics, cookies & your data
When you click an affiliate or tracking link, both we and the destination site may receive information about that click. Typical examples include:
- Whether a link was clicked, and roughly when.
- Which campaign, page, or QR code the click came from.
- Whether that click led to a purchase (reported in aggregate, not as a detailed order history).
We use this information to understand which books and bonuses are resonating, and to improve future projects. We do not sell your personal contact details to other companies.
For a full explanation of what data is collected, which tools we use (for example, analytics tags and consent tools), and how to manage your preferences, please review our Privacy Policy and Cookies pages.
9. Changes to this page & how to contact us
Affiliate programs, tools, and storefronts change over time. We may update or replace links, add new partners, or remove services that no longer fit our brand or values.
When we make a material change to how we use affiliate links (for example, adding a new major program or changing how we label links), we will:
- Update the effective date near the top of this page, and
- Adjust our Disclosures page where appropriate.
If you have questions about any link, commission, or partnership mentioned here, please contact us at [email protected] or via the form on our Contact page. Please mention that your question is about “Affiliate Programs” so we can route it quickly.
