CHRONICLES OF WORDCRAFT

Press Kit Press & Brand Assets

Plain-language summary
Effective date: November 2025 • Applies to official Chronicles of Wordcraft presskit files and brand assets

Overview

This page explains, in everyday language, how you may use the logos, cover art, author photos, mockups, and other brand assets we make available in our official Press Kit. It is written for reviewers, booksellers, librarians, educators, bloggers, and anyone else who needs clean, pre-approved visuals and copy when talking about Chronicles of Wordcraft and R.R. Thalore.

In short, you are welcome to use the presskit materials for good-faith coverage of our books and brand — for example, in reviews, interviews, catalogue listings, or event promotion — but you may not use those assets to create your own products, brand, or downloads, and you may not imply a partnership or endorsement that does not exist.

These guidelines sit alongside (and do not replace) our main Terms of Use, Permissions & Licensing, Disclosures, and Privacy Policy. If there is ever a conflict, those legal documents will govern.

Quick guide

Usually OK vs. Not OK

Usually OK

  • Using our logo, crest, or series marks in articles, reviews, interviews, and catalog listings.
  • Showing book covers or interior spreads when you are discussing or reviewing the books.
  • Using the supplied author photo and bio in event programs, media kits, or bookstore materials.
  • Creating screenshots or short screen recordings of our website or bonus-pack downloads for tutorials or coverage.
  • Linking to our site, booksellers, or official social profiles.

Not OK

  • Using our crest, logo, coins, or other marks as part of your own logo or brand identity.
  • Reselling, re-hosting, or re-packaging the Press Kit or any of its contents as your own download.
  • Using our art, puzzles, or line drawings as the basis for your own commercial products (books, merch, printables, or digital downloads).
  • Modifying assets in a way that misrepresents our brand, or suggests approval of something we have not formally endorsed.
  • Feeding our art or logos into datasets or tools for AI training without a separate written license.

When in doubt, please treat the Press Kit as a way to talk about Chronicles of Wordcraft and R.R. Thalore, not as raw stock art. If you want to do something that is not clearly “Usually OK”, contact us first.

Special cases
